Music Poster

Here are five music poster that i thought were really high quality and and express exactly what the kind of concert that are about really well.
This a classic music poster. it features the subject and straight up tells you, where when who and how much. there is no squinting and having to tilt your head to read the information, everything is right there layed out just so for that exact reason.
At first glance you know this poster is targeting crazy and wild teens and young adults, simple by this figures hair. you automatically know that this will be a let you hair down and wave it around sort of concert. the contrasting red and white with the hints of grey splashed through, really make the poster stand out from the crowd. The vibrancy in the red immediately make you feel passionate, passionate to go sit outside the ticket box all night and passionate to be 8 hours early to the concert, just so you get front row seats. it's a great use of colour for that exact reason.
This poster really comes across as a more grown up poster, appealing to an older audience. it's less sporadic as the minority of music poster that are out now, that try to squash every single band's name that is playing, on the the poster. it's clean and clean quality portrays a welcoming concert environment opposed to moshing, drinking and rampages, which is why i think this poster works as such a high quality publication.
The intensity of the orange is the first to get you with this poster which makes it stand out so significantly from the rest. it is a very good techniques when most band posters are very dark and use deep colours. the alternate layout for displaying the preforming bands is also very eye catching and makes you want to read more and twist your head and really get into the poster, which is what makes it this poster really work.
I think this is an awesome poster. it's simple and clean, not crowded and forcing to much in your face. it gets it's point across with the whole less is more approach.
